D&H services all types of air conditioning units in the Catalina Foothills neighborhood.
Every day our HVAC technicians come back to our service centers with many stories related to air conditioning repair services. We decided to share some.
Towards the top of sunrise, in the beautiful La Paloma gated community, in the 85718 zip. A very unusual repair today!
Our client has a Goodman split heat pump, and it stopped working. Tracing back the problem, we found that the suction line had been damaged by a lawn maintenance device. The equipment made a hole in the line, and all the refrigerant had evaporated. It was a copper line, so we could repair it on the spot. After recharging the system with the right refrigerant (410A), and the Goodman is now purring again like a mountain lion!
All this done under our Guardian Maintenance Plan at the lowest possible cost. Check out the details here: https://dandhac.com/guardian/

A service call to the Catalina Foothills, on Circulo Bujia, near N Pontatoc Rd.
Beautiful home, and a great A/C unit manufactured by Daikin. The maintenance call was not effected under D&H’s Guardian Planned Maintenance program, so we made sure all systems were go. We checked the filter, amps, volts and temps, the various pressures, the motors, and the coils. The inverter system works perfectly.
We recommended our client to install a surge protector to protect against power surges and lightening strikes: in most cases, your manufacturer’s warranty does not cover natural causes.
D&H Air Conditioning offers an excellent maintenance contract with lots of benefits: https://dandhac.com/are-service-contracts-for-air-conditioning-maintenance-plans-worth-it/
Right in the Catalina Foothills at Calle Del Minique (85750) for a gas furnace inspection under our Guardian Club Maintenance Program. After the cold of the past few weeks, when the gas furnace has been working full time, it’s good to inspect how this Lennox split unit has been holding up.
We checked and tightened all electrical connections, clean the flame sensor, checked the igniter Ohms, inspected the blower motor and blower wheel. We checked the safety switches, cleared out the condensation drain, and vacuumed and cleaned up the burner housing. This whole section of the furnace is now working at full capacity (minus age).
We also checked the air filter, the pressure switch for the inducer draft motor, the amp draws on the blower motor, the supply and return air temperature. We did a carbon monoxide test and gas leak check. Both came out negative, which is very good news.
No charge for the client, this inspection was all covered by the Guardian Maintenance Plan. If you want more details about it, call our technicians at 520-408-2665!
