Issac (maybe it was Isaiah, our brains were fried from the heat) came out on a Sunday and was able to get our A/C back up and running. Super kind and hardworking guy. The temperature was to reach 108 today and my air conditioner wasn't blowing air. Moises showed up a few hours later and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. D & H made my day!!

I’m so grateful for D&H emergency services. My A/C stopped working and of course it was at the beginning of a heat wave and also on a holiday. The D&H answering service took my call at 6 AM, their dispatch called me back an hour later, and their technician, Ethan, was here a couple hours later. He replaced a broken part, got the unit running, and checked the machine for other potential issues. Ethan explained what was going on, was thorough in checking that the A/C was running well, and was very easy to work with. I thought the rates were reasonable even with the extra charge for emergency service on a holiday. They were very upfront about that and even offered to come the next day if I felt that would be more affordable for me. As a female homeowner, it is a bit of a crapshoot when working with contractors, and I felt respected and that my concerns were being taken seriously with everyone that I interacted with. Thank you D&H for caring about your customers and to your employees for their excellent service.

Called with an A/C emergency, all I can say it was a very Pleasant experience from start to finish. The lady I spoke with over the phone was polite and clear in everything she explained to me. Then the follow up call with my technician Carols “Chuck” was again friendly and accurate.. and especially prompt with the time promised. Carlos was through and highly knowledgeable he not only made the repair he also took the time to explain the unit and it’s operating process to my Father-in-law who’s primary language is Spanish. I really appreciated that.

6/15/23: Again D&H called me to set up AC check up. Service person Josh was excellent.

7/13/26. It’s July in Tucson. At 4 pm we realize the AC fan is just blowing hot air from the garage. I call D & H and within 2 hours the problem - a blown capacitor - is fixed and we don’t have to spend the night in a hotel! Charge was less than half what one night in a hotel would have cost. I highly recommend these folks .

Nathan was very knowledgeable and very polite and quick , serviced one of the mini splits.

My AC split unit was shot and not worth fixing so bought a new one through them at a good price. They even waived the service call fee for looking at my old unit. One of the most knowledgeable guys I’ve ever run into. Highly recommend them!

D and H responded sameday to a worn out package unit on a very hot day. Instalation of new unit was 3 days out but they provided temporary cooling units to make the wait bearable. Instalation in one day and without any problem. Communication was good and we were kept aware of progress. Clean and simple installation matched up to our existing ductwork. Two weeks later unit quit in the middle of the night.They sent out the tech that morning and had it going that day.
Everyone at D and H have been courteous, responsive and professional.

I had my HVAC system replaced. Jeremy and Caleb came out to do the install. Both were very courteous and professional and both worked through the heat. My sales consultant Miguel was great too and answered all my questions. Overall, the purchase and installation experience was great. I now have a system that’s much quieter cools down faster than my old one.

Great company! They set me up with the portable AC until my unit was able to come in. They arrived on time they were courteous, and professional. I was comfortable leaving them home while I was at an appointment and they called to let me know they were done and locked up before they left. I highly recommend this company!

No A/C on hot Saturday night July 4th. Technician was here first thing Sunday morning. Our 17-year-old system was completely replaced, up and running by 2:00 pm Monday. Everyone from D&H was efficient, friendly, and professional. Highly recommend!

(5Jul26) Our a/c system froze at the evaporator coil. Nathan did a thorough service to our a/c system including trying to find a refrigerant leak, with a careful and detailed search, for an hour. Nathan answered evert question, keeping his explanations clear.

Josh was great! explained everything in detail and made sure all questions were answered before leaving. There's a reason I call D&H for my Air conditioner needs

I had Nathan come out to fix my unit after another company did a hasty install. The difference is obvious. D&H is who you can depend on. To choose another company is foolish.

AC service

Replacement of back water valve. D&H did a great job. Defective valve was under exposed aggregate concrete. Other plumbers wanted to cut into the concrete, which would’ve been impossible to match. D&H was able to remove the flap and install an entire new valve down and off the concrete. My home and yard looks like nothing happened. Systems seem to be working perfectly. It also saved a significant cost in the overall repair itself. I was very happy with the results. Written estimate was very clear of what would be done and workers kept me informed along the way. I’m very satisfied with the results. I had gotten three separate estimates.

I was waiting for a blood test one day when I overheard the man behind me talking about his fifty years in the air conditioning business. As I eavesdropped, the man told the listener how small leaks could be repaired, but only to call D & H as they were the best in Tucson. I remembered that conversation two nights ago when our house reached 85°. We called D & H and Moises and Isaiah were here first thing in the morning. They checked the condenser— measuring outputs and levels of various aspects, and, at my request, shared all the information with my husband and me. It was apparent that our twelve-year-old air conditioner had died. Moises called his boss on speaker phone in our living room so that all of us had input on the brand we would get and how much the new system would cost. We worked out a fair deal for all of us. Imagine our surprise when Jeremy and Caleb showed up just an hour or so later and quickly got to work! These two men worked though the 105° heat with no complaints in order to give us a much cooler house that night. They double-checked their work, measuring the temperature coming from the vents, made sure the furnace worked, and, despite their exhaustion, hauled away all the boxes, old A/C unit and various pieces of trash that someone else was supposed to have done. I don't know that we've ever had better, more considerate or thorough workers than those two! I'm so glad I eavesdropped on the man in the blood test lab that day because I believe we DID indeed find the best air conditioning company in Tucson!

D & H responded quickly when our A/C went down. Merlin, our service tech was prompt, polite, neat and clean. He explained everything that was needed to do the repair and he had all the parts on the truck. And just like that we were back up and running. Thank you Merlin and D &H.

D &H showed up within hours of our call for a repair of our air conditioner. Joe worked quickly and efficiently to resolve the issue with parts being readily available for the work needed. Joe was friendly and very competent and explained everything as he worked to solve the problem.

I can’t say enough FANTASTIC things about D&H! Having to put on a new roof can be stressful-but then add in that you have to have your air conditioner removed…holy cow!!! That’s where Mike and D&H come into play. Mike and his D&H crew worked with Norma’s Crane Service to have our air conditioner unhooked and removed and when the roof was completed Mike sent the D&H crew back out to hook everything back up and make sure we were good to go. D&H and Mike will be the only company we and our family will ever use! Four years later… called D&H for service on our mini split ac/heat, plus service check on our other 2 full size units on a Friday and was able to get an appointment that Monday. We received follow up calls so that our technician was prepared and ready to go. Zach arrived on time with a smile and was professional, kind, and above all explained everything in detail with pictures. The poor man even had to battle a unit that is currently housing 3 wasps nests! Zach did a fantastic job and we will be calling to schedule him again after we take care of our wasp problem. D&H continues to stand out for excellent and reliable service. We won’t use anyone but D&H.

D & H is a total lifesaver! They came out the same day, gave me a decent price and did what they said they were going to! The consultant was sweet, knowledgeable and competent. I had my condensation pump go out, and my handyman said it would cost between $400-$500. THey were the only ones who didn't want an upfront fee to come out. He quoted me a price immediately and it was $465, right what my handyman had estimated. SUCH A RELIEF! I get so scared that a big company is going to charge way too much to just give mediocre service, and this was the best possible outcome I could of had. (I had a plumbing company charge me $400 just to unclog a toilet!).The system was tested and it works great!

Luis Gonzalez came today and removed my old on-demand water heater and installed the beautiful new one in the garage. This necessitated moving water and gas lines, a new vent through the roof, a new condensate line, repairing the wall, and ensuring it was all working properly. Everything is now up to code and will be much more efficient and safe. He did an amazing job, explained everything, cleaned up, and was very professional. He did an amazing job.

From the office staff for scheduling and keeping you up to date on techs arrival status, to the techs themselves. Merlin serviced my AC this year and did an outstanding job! He took pictures to show me exactly what the different parts were that needed replacement, including the estimate with labor. The list was organized as to 'must' do(s) to ensure excellent summer operation to items that were more should/could do(s). I will request Merlin again for my winter appointment too. I highly recommend and will be staying with D&H for my HVAC needs!

Had an appointment on Thursday called Wednesday to confirm appointment and they were able to send the service tech. out that evening instead, was very happy about that as my heat was not working and was very cold out. Cesar was professional and did a great job!

My tech Zach was very responsive to our issue, and was quick to get the heating working. He also was able to proactively order the parts necessary to do a complete repair. He was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly.

We couldn't be more pleased with Kalem. He is the only technician who has ever completely informed us what he was doing, how to troubleshoot problems ourselves and gave us many options. Heating systems have become, like automobiles, confusing to the general public and Kalem broke it down and made it understandable. He is worth his weight in gold to your organization.
