As a longtime customer of D & H Air Conditioning, I had an excellent experience with their service, and I especially want to recognize Cristian, the technician who came to our home.

Cristian was polite, kind, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He carefully diagnosed our HVAC system and was able to determine that the problem was actually with the thermostat. I really appreciated how thorough he was and that he took the time to identify the real issue rather than jumping to conclusions or recommending unnecessary work.

He explained everything clearly, answered my questions, and made the entire experience easy and reassuring. It’s rare to find someone who combines technical expertise with such a friendly, professional attitude.

Tim Caho with D&H did a great job repairing my heat pump. I appreciated his honest advice about the risk associated with repairing an old unit like mine. I decided to assume the risk and go ahead with the repair. Tim’s years of experience were evident as I watched him replace the faulty parts. I tried not to bother him too much as he worked, but he patiently answered all my questions while navigating the tangle of wires and components. It was a pleasure chatting with Tim. I feel lucky they sent me him.

I had a clogged sink that needed to be snaked, and the plumber Carlos did a great job. He was professional, knowledgeable, and got the problem taken care of quickly. I really appreciated the great service and would definitely use them again!

I had a great experience with Tim from D&H Air Conditioning. He was extremely friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. What I appreciated most was that he took the time to explain what was going on with my HVAC system and helped me better understand how everything works instead of just coming in, doing the job, and leaving.

Tim answered my questions, explained things in a way that was easy to understand, and made sure I knew what to look out for going forward. You can tell he really knows his stuff and cares about providing good service.

This an honest and reliable family-own company. I had an AC emergency (four animals) and Pedro was here within minutes. He carefully assessed the problem, quoted a reasonable price (thermostadt), and executed the work promptly. Soon after, we discovered another problem (we don't do adequate annual maintenance, which Pedro educated us on) with our AC compressor this time. Pedro returned (at no house call charge this time), assessed the new problem, again quoted a reasonable price, and executed the job promptly and efficiently (taking only as much as he needed; no dilly-dallying). I had full AC service by end of day. I'll never use anyone else. Thank you Pedro! You're a life-saver!! 🙂

UPDATE ***************************************The company came out to correct issues from previous install. Today's service was great and I can't complain. I still can't give a 5 star review until I know the issue is fixed. By tonight we will know. Once I hear from the manager and he/she validates the repair finally done right and the drywall access has been fixed them I'll update my rating as fully satisfied. Everything below this update is old review which will also be pulled once 100% complete

This review is not on the tech. Its on after the sale and install follow up.
D&H knows all the issues we had prior to buying a new unit and they made that right. They also know about the defective product and made that right. But my complaint is what happened after the install.
The thermostat was loose and not installed securly, even the tech moved it back in place and didnt say or do anything about it. I had to call and get someone back out to secure it.
After second system was installed and finally working, before tech left he said someone would be in contact to fix the damaged drywall where the return air was put in. Not even an appoligy. One week later no call. I call D&H and im told it will be sent to a third party and they will contact me. 4 days later still no call so i call back and ask for phone number to contractor and im told they dont have it but she will send my info to the scheduler and they will contact me and also have contractor contact me. So now were on today almost 24 hours later and still no call.
So D&H im not happy with service after the sale. You got my $18,000 dollars and im a closed book.
By the was they also took out the old gas furnance and shut gas valve off but did not cap the line. This im told is a must.
Its sad but im having to hire someone to come and repair the wall and install the return air vent properly(only one of 4 screws are holding it and there is nothing keeping the unit from pulling air, dust and what ever from the wall cavities. There is a top board in attic but air is still being pulled from around cracks and holes and open space)the area where the air handler attaches to the duct work is loosing more air then what comes out of the registers. High power line is not secure and they used part of the old systems condensation tube to run the new line, the old tube is colapsed. This is just not quality work. Ive asked for someone to come out and see this with no responce. Very disapointed, that i have to hire another hvac company to come clean up their work

Owner responded with apoligy and said someone would call me this evening. That was 40 minutea ago and its 5:35 in the evening.
I left a message on their chat box not to bother, i cant afford to take more time off of work. Ive already secured a contractor to fix my walls and cap the gas. Ill find someone else to fix the leaking air and condensation tube

Had service after hours on Sunday. Luis came out found and took care of the issue right away.

Arizona summer is just brutal, I was having issues with my AC again. I hear the unit running but the house is not getting cold. I called D&H 24/7 service. They were able to fit me in the same day (Saturday). Giovanni did the inspection, he took photos and run diagnostics so he can explain it better. This was a same day maintenance service so hoping not to have a lot of issues. The problem was the capacitor (about 3 years old)that needs to be replaced. The issue was resolved and AC is working properly especially with 105 degrees heat. I definitely recommend D&H service. Giovanni did a phenomenal job, absolutely satisfied and I highly recommend D&H.
I also wanted to extend my thanks for Giovanni for bringing up a gas smell and having us reach out to Southwest Gas to do a courtesy check. They eventually came out and fix the leak. His attention to detail and priority to safety is above and beyond. Thanks you Sir.

I know I have posted several times about this business, but when you have locally owned company that provides phenomenal service you need to put it out there. Had a simple issue I could have probably fixed, but called a technician out anyways. Ethan showed up and took the time to explain what to do next time as it was an easy fix. However the way he explained what happened was fantastic. D&H has always sent employees that are respectful and treat customers to where they don't feel dumb for asking questions. Again. All around great service from dispatch to Ethan taking of of the customer on his end. Can't recommend enough.

The forecast was a high of 110 and my AC stopped working. I called D&H and within a hour the service technician was at my home. The service technician was amazed. He was professional he answered all my questions fixed my AC unit and provided me with a maintenance plan.

On Sunday we woke up to our A/C blowing out warm air. What a nightmare, I thought. Here goes a couple of days while we call a technician and wait for service. But I called D&H and they were out in a couple of hours. Because we trust them with the routine maintenance of the A/C unit, and they were the company that installed it, the response was fast and the fee was nominal...Even for a Sunday! The technician was quick to diagnose the problem and just as quick to fix it. We were back to cooler temperatures inside before we knew it. Thanks D&H!

GREAT SERVICE!! Great techs (Luis and Logan). Arrived when expected, answered all my questions, and then some. Very professional and personable. They are first on go to list!!

We have been D&H customers for more than 20 years. They have served us well Tim and again. Our most recent experience was a repair and recover of our AC system. The AC failed, stopped working reporting error codes. The service tech (Luis) was dispatched promptly (with 30 minutes) and has us up and running again with an hour or so. Crisis averted.

D&H has been exceptional though out our time with them.

Tim C. Was knowledgeable, professional and very pleasant. My system went down at 6pm, 102 outside Tim arrived asap, made repairs and was done by 9 the same night. Cooling wonderfully.

Came home and the A/C wasn’t working. Call to D&H and a tech was over within an hour. Repair done and A/C is back in business. Cristian was great!

I never felt more comfortable dealing with a first-time outside plumber/electrician in my 29 years’ residence in Tucson.

I’ve been with D&H for almost 10 years. I stay with them because I trust them and I trust they have my best interests at heart. I needed service today, and they got me in today. I see D&H as a premium air-conditioning and heating vendor, thus expect such expertise - they don't disappoint!

It was a pleasure to meet and work with Manny. He is knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. Manny was very professional when talking to us. Just by describing our problem he knew what the issue was. He went to inspect and found that the surge protector was damaged by a direct power surge hit. He took the time to explain the damage and recommended a solution. He listened and answered all our questions. D&H is lucky to have such a professional technician as Manny.

Fastest AC repair ever.

D&H Air Conditioning is super reliable! Yes, Moses is an excellent technician. Knowing exactly how to TROUBLESHOOT a “Mini-Split” AC/Heating System is not common knowledge. Moses showed his complete understanding of how my AC/Heating System works. When Moses finished repairs I was very confident. His advice on maintenance was excellent. I will absolutely ask for Moses again, if needed.

I had an email offer for an A/C monsoon ready tune-up! D&H came out same day as I called with some good recommendations!

I needed to replace a water softener ( I provided the new unit) the job was pretty much removing the old unit and reconnecting the new one. The plumber was was efficient and courteous. He even reset the controller box and tested the water for hardness. I would highly recommend D&H plumbing department. I purchased my AC unit a few years ago and their service was also very good. Glad to see them expanding into plumbing.

Absolutely excellent service! We had a serious water main break in our front yard. We immediately called D&H and Gilbert arrived within an hour. He quickly diagnosed the issue and provided 2 solutions. The problem was then solved 24 hours later. Everything procedure was explained clearly, Gilbert & Mark were courteous, professional & expedient. We're beyond satisfied with D&H.

Calling D&H Air Conditioning was the first thing that came to mind after the monsoon storm. Our AC decided to quit at 2:00 AM and I reached out to D&H. Nathaniel came out and took care of the issue! Cold air and a happy wife!

It ended up being the fuses, but Nathaniel didn’t just replace them and walk away. He ran a full diagnostic on the fan, compressor/condenser and refrigerant to make sure everything was operating properly. While we waited for the unit to reach its optimal temperature, we had a great conversation, and he even gave me a crash course on how the system operates. I walked away understanding the basics of refrigeration.

5 Star rating easily if not more stars. From start to finish was perfect. The woman in the office to my technician Giovanni.
My mom's A/C was blowing hot Ari to none and my technician Giovanni came out looked at it gave me a quote and then 20 minutes later my A/C until has a new fan motor. D&H needs to give this young kid Giovanni a pay raise. But only bad part of this was the pricing $1,900 But Giovanni got a discount price for $1700 so save me $200 better than some then none

We received outstanding service from Chuck at D&H! We were in need of urgent repairs on my 93-year-old father's AC. Chuck was on-site remarkably fast. He diagnosed the issue quickly, explained everything clearly and had the unit back up and running. Chucks professionalism and expertise are top -.notch. We couldn't have asked for better service!!

Jake with D&H Cooling was amazing! He was able to troubleshoot our system and find the issue quickly. He was very knowledgeable, honest, and took the time to explain what was going on and what needed to be fixed. You can tell he really cares about doing the job right. Came out and inspected my unit, he went above and beyond looking to see if my unit was under manufacturer warranty to be able to save me money on this repair. Luckily it was under warranty and I was beyond excited! As a new home owner, I had questions about the AC and how to keep up with the maintenance and Isaiah was knowledgeable and patient with me. Our AC went down and left us completely exposed to the harsh summer. Thankfully, we had a quick and effective call to D&H and now our disaster has been resolved. Izaiah came out to service our unit and we were impressed with how concise and to the point he was at diagnosing the problem and getting the job done. My experience was a situation with an A/C window unit that came with home i purchased....worked fine for a while then started blowing warm.... i called and a tech arrived by the name of merlin christiansen... he was very knowledgeable and professional... he checked unit with gauges and realized my capacitor was bad.... he changed it out and has been cooling ever since..i would recomend this young man to anyone who needs A/C repairs !!!!

Last summer our A.C. went out with having a newborn and Merlin was beyond helpful and right on top of helping us! He takes pride in what he does and loves to talk and walk you through what he does!
